collegegraduationUndergraduate, graduate and adult students can now apply for scholarships to support their higher education studies for the 2011-2012 school year. The Community Foundation manages various scholarship funds, each with its own specific purpose and eligibility criteria. Students interested in applying for a specific scholarship should visit our Scholarships page to review information for each program to determine eligibility, access application information and review deadlines.

There are multiple deadlines for each scholarship from March 15 to May 2.Click here for complete details. Please note that the application process for scholarships varies (e.g. application form, online application, etc.), so please review information carefully for each scholarship program.

“Through our scholarship program, The Community Foundation is able to directly support individuals poised to make a difference in their communities,” says Kristina Morris who manages the Foundation’s scholarship program. “While we know the long-term benefits such investments can make, it’s rewarding to hear from students how the funds have helped them to lighten their current financial burdens now, thus allowing them to focus more on the most important aspect of school – learning.”

Last year, more than 600 students applied for scholarships offered through The Community Foundation’s various scholarship funds. More than half a million was awarded to more than 200 students during last year’s program.
