Your Favorite Wish Facebook Contest: May 3, 2011

For many years now, we have offered donors of The Community Foundation, an opportunity to grant the wish of a nonprofit organization through our An Extra Wish program. These wishes are essential items that contribute to the success of an organization, but have been set aside because of more pressing needs.

This spring, we have added a new feature to the An Extra Wish program. Thanks to a sponsoring donor, we will grant the wish of one special nonprofit that receives the most votes by our Facebook fans.

Here are the details of the contest:

1. Visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cfgreateratlanta.

2. Click on the Favorite Extra Wish Contest photo album, which contains the nonprofits/wishes featured in our Spring 2011 An Extra Wish booklet.

3. Simply “like” your favorite nonprofit – and as many as you like. You can also promote the contest on your own Facebook page to encourage your friends to vote. Note: In order to vote, you must be friends of The Community Foundation’s page.

4. The nonprofit with the largest number of votes will have its wish granted by our sponsoring donor.

The contest deadline is Monday, May 16.
