On Sunday, December 11, our own Kathy Palumbo accepted an award from Positive Impact Health Centers, given to the Community Foundation in recognition of our demonstrated commitment to the cause of preventing the transmission of HIV today and for the vision of tomorrow’s AIDS-free generation. The award was given during the Party with Impact, recognizing the 25th anniversary of Positive Impact Health Centers.

For 25 years, Positive Impact Health Centers has provided client-centered care to the HIV community and worked tirelessly to prevent transmission of HIV. After the merger of two long-standing AIDS Service Organizations, Positive Impact and AID Gwinnett, the organization was able to amplify its impact on those they serve at two locations, Duluth and midtown Atlanta.

The Community Foundation congratulates Positive Impact Health Centers on 25 years of dedication to serving the greater Atlanta area.
