ERIN DRURY is a Philanthropic Advisor for The Community Foundation. In this role she works with a portfolio of donor-advised funds, helping individuals and families develop their personal philanthropy by facilitating family meetings, helping donors identify values and interest areas, preparing dockets of funding recommendations, and introducing donors to nonprofit organizations in their interest areas with site visits and reports. Erin works closely with the Waterfall Foundation, a supporting organization of The Community Foundation, and serves on their board. 
 
Prior to coming to The Community Foundation, Erin worked for the Woodruff and Whitehead Foundations in Atlanta and also served as the Woodruff Fellow in 2003-2004. While there she participated in the Foundation’s grantmaking processes, including reading proposals, attending site visits and documenting meetings as well as researching information to be used for grantmaking evaluation. Erin also worked for BoardWalk Consulting as a Research Associate, working on projects for executive search and board management consulting. 
 
Erin was a Hull Fellow with the Southeastern Council of Foundations in 2006 and served on the Annual Meeting and Conference Planning Committee in 2007. 

Erin is a graduate of Berry College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Minor in Religion and has a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.

Last year’s financial contributions were a record $139 million and 2010 was our third highest year in grants made totaling $99 million. This year’s annual report shares the difference these investments have made…the needs met…and the lives changed.
