Lisa Williams joined The Community Foundation in June 2000 and serves as vice president, Finance & Operations.  In this role she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, investments and human resources.
 
She also currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Fiscal Administrative and Officer Group, a membership group for over 175 community foundations with representatives from accounting, administrative, finance, human resources, investment and technology positions.
 
Previously she served as a Vice President for Finance for the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and has held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Island National Bank and Trust Company. Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate of the University of Florida.

Impact Philanthropy

Impact Philanthropy is an approach we're taking to further engage donors of The Community Foundation to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. Impact Philanthropy includes print, online and “community conversations” with nonprofits and donors – all with the focus of connecting donors with their passion and the needs of the community.

Through Impact Philanthropy, we help define the issues and opportunities nonprofits and those they serve are facing. Past editions of Impact Philanthropy have focused on Crisis Assistance in metro Atlanta, as well as the importance of the arts.
