WANDA WALLACE is the gift processing coordinator for The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. In this role she serves as the liaison between the Philanthropic Services Department and Finance Department with respect to financial issues. As gift processing coordinator, Wanda is also responsible for processing both outright and deferred gifts. She oversees the transfer of assets with brokers, banks and donors and provides instructions to custodians regarding the sale of assets. She prepares tax substantiation letters for donors noting gift value and also manages the donor database system.
 
Wanda attended DeVry University. She enjoys volunteering with multiple nonprofits, is currently a Girl Scout Leader and serves on multiple auxiliaries through her church.

Our Philanthropic Framework

During 2008 The Community Foundation dedicated time to learn new ways we can strengthen the Atlanta region through philanthropy. We studied practices in the field, attended conferences, read research from experts and peers, and listened to our donors, nonprofits and community leaders. From this we have created Our Philanthropic Framework.


This is not a reinvention of The Community Foundation - it is simply our intent to clearly define how we do our work and how we'll know if we're making a difference.
