Grantmaking

Working collaboratively with our Community Partnerships staff we offer our deep knowledge of the Atlanta region to help you with all aspects of grantmaking – particularly identifying organizations that connect with your passion. As members of the Center for Family Philanthropy, you will receive customized:

  • area of interest reports

  • issue briefs

  • organizational assessments

  • personal site visits to nonprofits for you and your family to see the work first-hand - this tends to be a very engaging experience for children and can help fuel their passion for giving

We provide full grantmaking management from solicitation to grant distribution and evaluation. Your philanthropic advisor will be your direct contact responsible for guiding you through this process by facilitating meetings, serving as a coach, helping you access our resources and answering any and all questions.

Our 2010 Annual Report

Recently released, our 2010 Annual Report focuses on the impact that we, along with our donors, nonprofits and community partners, have made in our 23-county region.

Last year’s financial contributions were a record $139 million and 2010 was our third highest year in grants made totaling $99 million. This year’s annual report shares the difference these investments have made…the needs met…and the lives changed.
