Many of Georgia’s largest private foundations also maintain funds at The Community Foundation in order to access our services and expertise. To establish a relationship with The Community Foundation, a distribution may be made from a private foundation into a fund at The Community Foundation.
For donors and their families that determine that their existing private foundation is no longer meeting their objectives, the entire private foundation may be converted to a fund with The Community Foundation. In certain cases, The Community Foundation may also be able to provide services to a private foundation for a negotiated fee.
