Nonprofit Site Visits

Consider participating in a nonprofit site visit

At The Community Foundation, we offer donors a host of services to help them learn more about the Atlanta region and nonprofits making a difference in our community. From donor reports to engagement opportunities and events, our goal is to provide you tools and information to strengthen and guide your philanthropy.

Nonprofit site visits are another exciting service we provide Foundation donors at the Center for Family Philanthropy level, as well as other donors interested in deeper engagement. Most recently, Foundation donors have visited the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, Midtown Assistance Center, Literacy Action and Consumer Credit Counseling Service – to name just a few!

Site visits allow our donors the chance to meet with nonprofit leaders across the region and see first-hand the work they are doing to improve quality of life. For donors interested in making grants to local nonprofits, these visits help them see how their gift can make an impact. Some of our donors who have participated in site visits have even found new volunteer opportunities for their family. Your philanthropic advisor serves as your guide throughout the entire process, helping you identify nonprofits to visit, scheduling the visit and even helping you determine the right questions to ask.

If you are interested in learning more about site visits and the other services we provide, contact your philanthropic advisor at 404-588-5525.
Highlights

Building Our Communities through Philanthropy

While many in the region know The Community Foundation for our grantmaking programs, we play a wide variety of roles in creating philanthropic solutions to our communities’ most pressing problems. These roles are as varied as the challenges our Atlanta region faces, but they each start with the premise that communities are built, improved and strengthened by the passion, ideas and resources of its people.
