Jerry Gonzalez knows there is leadership potential in every individual. And he has made it his life’s work to find that potential and turn it into success.
As the first executive director of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO), he certainly knows what it means to be a leader. Jerry has a long history of advocacy for the Latino community as a former campaign consultant for State Senator Sam Zamarripa, a legislative policy analyst for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund’s Atlanta Regional Office (MALDEF) and as immediate past-president and founder of the Georgia Hispanic Network, a nonprofit professional development and networking organization for Hispanic professionals.
