Nancy Penn Lyons Scholarship Fund

Purpose

For students with financial need who have been accepted for enrollment at prestigious or out-of-state universities


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Legal resident of Georgia for at least one year prior to application
  • A graduating high school senior
  • A combined SAT score of 1000 or higher (Math and critical reading only)/ACT composite of 22 or higher
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Preference will be given to students attending selective private or out-of-state institutions
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Demonstrated history of commitment to community service
  • Students attending public colleges or universities in the state of Georgia are not eligible to receive this scholarship


Award Amount

$5,000 annually for up to four years


Scholarships Available

Up to five new awards annually
