In 2006, The Community Foundation passed the review of its operations by the Council on Foundation and was found in compliance with its National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations. These national standards are designed to help community foundations establish and adhere to legal, ethical and effective operational practices that show a foundation’s transparency and financial responsibility.
