You still have time to apply for a Nonprofit Toolbox award!

The Nonprofit Toolbox is a program of The Community Foundation’s Common Good Funds and the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund that provides nonprofit organizations with tools to strengthen their management, governance and operations. The goal of the Nonprofit Toolbox program is to provide packages of services and tools to help nonprofit organizations become financially stronger and organizationally strong.

Eligibility Requirements
Nonprofit organizations that meet the requirements to receive a grant from The Community Foundation are eligible to apply. Unlike our other Nonprofit Effectiveness opportunities, organizations need not have received a financial grant from The Community Foundation. Priority however will be given to these nonprofits.

How to Apply
Applications are accepted throughout the year. The next deadline to accept applications is April 1. The final deadline for 2010 is August 6.

Highlights

Building Our Communities through Philanthropy

While many in the region know The Community Foundation for our grantmaking programs, we play a wide variety of roles in creating philanthropic solutions to our communities’ most pressing problems. These roles are as varied as the challenges our Atlanta region faces, but they each start with the premise that communities are built, improved and strengthened by the passion, ideas and resources of its people.
