Healthy Belvedere Small Grants Program -- Deadline April 24: April 20, 2009

Belvedere residents concerned about the health and well being of their community have partnered with Kaiser Permanente Health Plan of Georgia, Inc. and The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta to provide small grants to encourage residents and other stakeholders who serve the Belvedere community to develop healthy eating and active living (HEAL) programs. During 2008 The Community Foundation dedicated time to learn new ways we can strengthen the Atlanta region through philanthropy. We studied practices in the field, attended conferences, read research from experts and peers, and listened to our donors, nonprofits and community leaders. From this we have created Our Philanthropic Framework.
