Independent Sector presents, "Lobbying: Just do it (legally)" webinar

Thursday, August 23

Lobbying. Too many charities and foundations are afraid of that word – or so afraid of "breaking the rules" that they just say no. But lobbying can be one of the most important parts of a successful public policy program, so we want you to be armed with the information you need to incorporate lobbying into your policy efforts.

This Thursday, August 23, from 2-3PM, the Independent Sector is hosting a free, interactive webinar on the lobbying rules for 501(c)(3)s. Presenters will discuss how to give your mission a voice in policy debates, while staying within the law.
