At The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, we believe one important way to strengthen and support our region’s nonprofits is to provide opportunities for board and staff to learn from field experts and peers through training, workshops and conferences. Recent grantee have access to a variety of professional development resources free of charge.
Georgia Center for Nonprofits & Foundation Center
We are partnering with the Foundation Center and Georgia Center for Nonprofit's Nonprofit University to make nearly all of their fee-based classes available to past grantees at no cost. Please visit our Events for Nonprofits page for a list of classes and workshops for which scholarships will be made available and for information on how to sign up for these classes. There is no limit on the number of classes you, your staff or board can access.
Classes, Seminars and Conferences of Your Choice
The Community Foundation will also consider support for courses, seminar series and conferences that have been self-identified by nonprofits. Past grantees can apply as often as desired but are limited to two of these Nonprofit Scholarships annually. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, with awards being made twice a month. Click here for details.
