Your Generosity & Year-End Giving: December 23, 2011

presentimage_1.JPG

As we approach the end of 2011, we would like to pause for a moment and thank our donors again for your continuing generosity in a world of economic uncertainty. As a group, The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s donors have remained steady in their philanthropic focus this past year, recommending thousands of grants to hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout our region, the nation and the world.

You still have time before the year closes to recommend grants from your fund to support the nonprofits you are most passionate about, and also consider additional contributions to your fund at The Community Foundation. If you have questions about year-end grants and contributions, please don’t hesitate to contact your philanthropic advisor at 404-688-5525.

From all of us at The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, our passionate staff and dedicated board, we thank you all -- our donor, nonprofit and community partners -- for your support, generosity and the amazing work you do to improve quality of life in metro Atlanta.

Best wishes and happy holidays!

Highlights

Building Our Communities through Philanthropy

While many in the region know The Community Foundation for our grantmaking programs, we play a wide variety of roles in creating philanthropic solutions to our communities’ most pressing problems. These roles are as varied as the challenges our Atlanta region faces, but they each start with the premise that communities are built, improved and strengthened by the passion, ideas and resources of its people.
