We support nonprofits through grants and guidance, strengthening their ability to make an impact on critical issues in our region.
Strategies:(how we will meet the goal)
- Build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to fulfill their mission
- Provide options for non-traditional investment to build nonprofit capacity and encourage innovation
- Develop and adopt standards for effective nonprofit management
- Provide customized management consulting
Activities we are exploring:- Provide general operating support
- Make multi-year and/or larger investments that include grants and a menu of management consulting
- Work with community partners and other donors to develop nonprofit standards
- Create an Innovation Incubator
- Provide short term loans using the Foundation's endowment
