Local Flavor


Spark Newton!—formerly the Newton Fund—was established in 2000 to bring together donors, nonprofits and community members to make philanthropy happen in Newton County. Spark Newton offers grantmaking, philanthropic learning opportunities and community awareness activities.

Impact


Since 2000, Spark Newton! has granted more than $278,000 to area nonprofits to respond to the changing needs of the community. Last year’s grantees include Action Ministries, FaithWorks and Newton County Community Partnerships.
